The in store Grocery Manager system from Worldsmart Retail allows Retailers to know exactly what is happening in their store.

From the supplier warehouse or Group Controller, product information is fed into the store level computer and then into the Scanning System. This allows for updates of new lines, item description changes, price decreases and increases, deals, specials, promotions and deleted lines.

The Grocery Manager system provides the store with complete in-store reporting, including Daily Gross Profit and Sales by Department, Item Movement and Price Books.

Scale Manager

Scale Manager provides for interfaces to in store printing scales such as those used in the deli, meat or bakery departments of a supermarket. All aspects of the deli, meat or bakery product details can be maintained within the Grocery Manager system and transmitted to the scale whenever changes are made. This ensures the integrity of the information between Grocery Manager and the printing scale.

Margin Manager

Margin Manager is a powerful tool for modelling sell pricing to meet desired profit targets based on sales mix. It is used on groups of products such as a product category or supplier for example, to increase profitability off line and then when the retailer is happy with the model, these changes can be applied to the database. Many weeks’ sales are used to determine an average quantity sold for each product. An overall projected profitability is calculated for the group of products in the model. Individual products or the whole group can then be adjusted with the resultant projected profit shown.

Cashier Manager

Cashier Manager has been designed to assist your organisation to better utilise the information regarding cashier performance collected by the WinPOSt Scanning System, and to assist in the often complicated task of balancing. Cashier Manager is a simple way to balance your takings on a daily or weekly basis whilst providing in depth information regarding cashier performance using key indicators and graphical reports. It will assist you in identifying problem areas with cashier operation, reduce the complexity of balancing and improve productivity in the Cash Office. Cashier Manager will enhance your Scanning System and improve operations in this vital area of your business.

Portable Data Entry

Worldsmart Retail has a provision for integration with a variety of Portable Data Entry (PDE) devices. This integration allows the store to take full advantage of these devices in the operation of the store. Applications currently available include:

Customer Management

The Customer Management system allows the Retailer to establish a central database of their most important asset – their customers.

Customer Management comprises a number of individual modules. Each individual module can be selected to construct a total customer management solution from the basic Customer Maintenance module. The modules are:

  • Frequent Customer – Loyalty system
  • External Sales – Wholesale selling
  • Lay By
  • Cheque Authorisation – at Point of Sale
  • Accounts Receivable – Debtor transaction through POS
  • Membership – Clubs etc

The system allows for the collection of sales data on customer purchases and spending habits and the profitability of each customer can be obtained.

Mail generation and customer listings are provided to allow contact to be maintained with the customer base even when they are not in the store.

External Sales gives the retailer the ability to provide individual pricing structures for back dock or remote deliveries whilst maintaining sales records and stock control within Retail Manager or Grocery Manager.

Customer ranking reports will allow the Retailer to identify their important customers and recognise them as critical to the success of your business. Demographic reporting will identify where the customers are located within the area of influence of your organisation. It allows for more successful targeting of prospective new customers.

The effective use of Customer Loyalty programs and direct marketing allows the Retailer to retain existing customers and attract new business to their organisation. Frequent Customer adds a powerful marketing tool to any organisation.

Shelf Print Manager

Shelf Print Manager allows for the printing of labels and talkers to any windows based printing device. It allows for the production of up to A4 size posters for ends and always provides unmatched variety in both styles and fonts.

Rebates Manager

Rebates Manager enables the collection of rebate information on sales, purchases and offers. Rebates Manager allows the retailer to configure, track, report and claim rebates quickly and efficiently ensuring 100% of rebates are claimed. Rebates can b claimed on an ongoing basis with reports designed to show what has been claimed and what can be claimed.

Stock Location Manager

Stock Location Manager enables retailers to identify exactly where a product is in the store. Stock Location Manager will allow labels and talkers can then be printed in sequence of their location within the store, potentially saving hours of time. Stocktake variances can be quickly resolved without having to go onto the floor as Stock Location Manager will enable retailers to quickly isolate those product locations that appear to be incorrect.
